Hello, Neighbor

Welcome to my blog, and welcome to "the neighborhood".

My summer consisted mostly of two summer school classes at my local community college and a few great opportunities for travel. Although I did have fun in my classes at community college, I would have to say that traveling was the best part of my summer. I went to visit my brother in San Francisco at the beginning of summer before my classes started, and then, when I had finished my classes, I went to Best Buddies International Conference in Indiana, and took a vacation with my Mom to Miami.

Here are a few pictures to sum up my summer travels:

Chinatown

Cell Block at Alcatraz

[Some of] The (Unexpected) Beauty of Alcatraz Island

The Psychology Building at UC-Berkeley

Sausalito (Across the Bay from San Francisco)

The Golden Gate Bridge

Anthony Kennedy Shriver (Founder of Best Buddies International)

The Waves of South Florida

So that was my summer. Here's to a new semester!
